The I Wish It Would Stop program (IWIWS) offers new hope and a new strategy
for identifying, intervening, protecting and healing youth exposed to domestic violence.

It is estimated that each year between 3.3 million and 10 million children are exposed to domestic violence. Domestic violence is any display by any adult member of the family attempting to control or exert power and/or force over another adult family member or intimate partner. Current domestic violence services reach only a small percentage of youth exposed to domestic violence, and are typically not designed with the specific needs of the children in mind. learn more
